We all know that we should warm up before we play a round, but many of us don’t bother. A lot of folk rally into the car park, throw their gear out of the boot and race down to the 1st tee, just in time to tee off with the rest of their four-ball. Apart from increasing the risk of injury, failure to warm up can mean that we drop a shot or two at the first and therefore ruin our chances of a good round.
Here’s a very simple warm-up routine that Maureen Madill (former European Golfer, now commentator) recommends. Some of you are probably doing this already.
